Anyone know how to get rid of the 60fps cap?
As the title states. I'd really like to get more than 60fps, it dips down to 40fps during races and really screws it up imo.

If *you yourself* gets 40fps... how would you go above 60fps?, even if you could go above 60fps cap which would be ridiculous since this game runs perfect on 60fps with no lag at all in controls, *your* computer would still run @ 40fps. I run 60fps every track after i upgraded my computer that use to only pull 18fps in nationals 35ish in supercross. i'd suggest upgrading your machine if you want the extra 20fps. my opinion. GL have fun

I played it maxed out and it dips down to 40fps which I deem unplayable for a racing game. I've turned the texture down to keep between 50-60fps. Don't need to upgrade my PC, got 4770K, 290 crossfire.

I think all Planktin is saying is, the framerate cap isnt the cause of your drop in frame rate. If you're running 50-60fps with the texture turned down. Without the frame cap you're still going to run the same minimum fps(50fps) but you'll hit a little higher high so the variation could be more noticeable than it is now.

Well I've read that this game isn't optimized for PC. FPS dips down to 35 on national races. I'm playing on a 1440p 60hz monitor.

You have an awesome computer. I would pull one of your GPUs out and try the game. Not trying to be an ass. Am running a 4670 non "k" with a single 760gtx. So in theory your machine would blast mine away. Many games have trouble running with dual cards. I havn't dropped below 60fps. So just an option to try for yourself, might work, might not. I also use 2 SSDs samsung pro 128gb for my os primary and 256gb for steam games/program files.

My settings are -
vsync enabled through nvidia control panel, motion blur disabled, fullscreen, 1920x1080 with dual monitor *other monitor is just for recording/skype/teamspeak/music*, AAx4, vsync unchecked *since i enabled it on Nvidia CP*. When i record i stay @ 60fps with nvidia shadow play with pretty nice vid.

Okay, so I disabled crossfire and it now plays at a constant 60fps and is smooth :)

so what about 60+ fps, is there any custom patches, or config fixes? I want to run it 160fps in 4k. Btw encore works fine in 160fps 4k.
Btw w/o motion blur it runs smooth on steamdeck, I'm happy with it, game is really cool and looks great on such small screen.
