The game crashes every time!

So when i bought the game, everything is fine, a week ago everything is fine, then i decide to install custom tracks and it starts crashing so i uninstall the game because i didnt know how to fix the problem, then i install it again and try to open it.... The game crashes! its all the default files nothing modified, i tried restarting my computer, going into properties of the game, maby adjusting game settings, but nothing worked and the game still crashes now.
Please may i have some help in fixing this?

your reflex save file is likely corrupted now, get this savefile from JamieT and follow the instructions and you should be fine. http://reflex-central.com/savegame_mod.php

Nope, i replaced the savegame.bmxl file with the one downloaded from the website and it still crashes on the same moment, which is 'Loading Motocard' and then bam crash

oh i forgot to mention you might need to disable cloud storage for reflex, go to games library, right click reflex, properties, updates , on the bottom of updates tab uncheck the enable cloud sync for this game box.
might need to redo the savefile step again not sure, hope this helps :)

I uncheked the sync thing and redid the savegame.bmxl thing again and still doesnt work

The file you downloaded from Jamie did you rename the file to

savegame.bxml

since it has to do with adding a custom track read what files you need to fix issue on TwistedDirt

since your savegame profile is corrupted due to missing files..Once you add custom stuff just

rermoving the files you added may cause crashing issues.Reason game is looking for the

files no longer there.Replacing savegame.bmxl in correct folder usually fixes issue

same happened to me i bought the game again and then reinstalled custom tracks and i was fine, also if you download skin packs that might be the ploblem DONT DOWNLOAD SKIN PACKS they can crash your game if you dont do it right, hope i helped you. Bye

Fallguy yes i renamed the file but i didnt make a copy of the original one, an thefaceofamerica, i downloaded custom tracks but then uninstalled the game and i didnt download skin packs, shouldnt it automatically bring the files to default since i have the sync option unticked?

uninstall the game, then right click game folder in the library, mxvsatv go to properties then local files then click browse local files DELETE EVERYTHING (depending on the type of computer you have you might have to do it the old fashioned way my computer>local drive>steam>steamapps>common>mxvsatvrelfex delete any residual files in this folder just leave the root file) then reinstall and follow the directions on how to get beta slots then do the aforementioned JamieT savefile as it will have alot of money and everything you need. if you need anything else, im on here a few hours a day just ask away

Whats the root folder called?

computer>local drive>steam>steamapps>common>(mxvsatvrelfex) <---- THIS IS THE ROOT FILE this is where the game and all of its contents will be stored everything in this is the game and has the database file where the custom tracks can be put

Yeah, if you installed custom tracks and your game didnt work, then see if there are any leftovers in the Root folder
