Game Crash On Start Up
I just recently picked up this game after a little hiatus, and the game won't pass the launch screen without crashing and exiting the game. I will note all I had were track mods, no bike skins or anything else.

I searched high and low for answers, 2 YouTube videos, Steam discussions, and forums, and nothing solves my problem.

I have reverifyed the integrity of the cash, installed the 15 million credit save file, deleted the save file and started the game in offline mode, I have tried about everything that you can possibly find on the internet, and yet, I still crash on start up.

I have checked and I don't seem to be missing MXDLC files or anything like that. It just pisses me off that I can't start this game at all.

When I did delete the save file, and restarted the game in offline mode, it was only a matter of time until I crashed...again! I retried this, and went to enter a cheat code to unlock everything, and the game crashed yet again! :steamfacepalm:

Can someone please help me in this freaking issue? I would be more than estatic if you can help me fix my problem.

Specs:
CPU: i5-6400 @ 2.7GHz
RAM: 8GB DDR4
GPU: GTX 960 4GB
OS: Windows 10

Do not reply with "same problem here", unless if you are going to add something to the issue, or offer help in anyway. I see it on forums all the time and it is a little bit of a pet peeve of mine. Thanks!

Try disabling your steam cloud on the game and reinstalling it. Should work.

whats x360? as in xbox 360 controller? I don't think the problem stems from a controller.

just a guess here... did you try going to your steam library and using the delete local content function (inculdes game and files) then redownloading and installing it again from steam?

be sure to save any custom tracks/skins in a different location since they would be deleted as well.

I redownloaded about 15 times, and it still doesn't work.
Disable the cloud save fuction.Reason it keeps saving the same corrupt game files so you end

up in endless circle when you reinstall. Here is what i would do..Deleate all files that have to do

with Reflex. Then reinstall the game "Clean Reinstall"

Then go to Twisted Dirt and look for the latest updated MXDLC files .I believe they were updated

IT WORKED! Thanks so much for the help, last question. How do you close discussions, or is that up to the developers? I'm kinda curious.

Again, thanks for the help, can finally play my favorite MVA game again.

what graphics card do you have? they told me it wouldn't work for me because I have an intel i7 card but this sounds like the exact same issue I have. Ive tried a million different thing to get this game to work.
I have a GTX 960 that has 4GB of GDDR5. Back on my old laptop where I played this game to death on there, I had an i5 Haswell chip in there, and the game ran fine when I lowered the settings just a bit. So it isn't a graphics issue. It's probably an issue with the save game and the mods you didn't install or something. I don't really know.
