you should evolve them starting from low level they give great addition to the base stats of the shikigami. just don't evolve kamaitachi and ebisu without maxing their 2nd skills

yes. when in chance you get extra yuki onna you can feed them to your evolved yuki onna.

I think that is just the same , before u evolve it or not. It takes alot of effort to just get 1 shikigami from shard.

Can anyone please explain why it's not a good idea to evolve Ebisu and Kamaitachi before maxing their second skill?

Their second skill is what makes them work. When you feed them duplicates it's random which skills get levelled up. By evolving them first you reduce the chance of skillups going into their second skill because they have yet another skill that may get the skillup instead.

Hope that makes sense.

Hey guys! Sry, I'm totally reviving this thread...
I just started playing yesterday and I'm still confused about most things in the game lol
I got lucky just now and drew Onikiri! I'm really happy I got an SSR but I have no idea what to do with him now, should I evolve him right away or level him first?
Can anyone give me any tips?
Thanks in advance for replies :)

In the case of Onikiri, you should evolve him right away as it makes him a lot stronger.

Thanks ! I'm working on gathering the materials already, but it'll take me a while to evolve him since I'm a low level and can't complete the high level stages from the evo zone :steamsad:

Rule of thumb is shiki that have a skill unlocked in evolution should generally get skill maxed first before evoing (such as Kamaitachi or Ebisu). The reasoning for this is often you want a specific skill leveled first, and by evoing, you lower the chance of the skill you want skill ups for leveling up. That might sound confusing, but taking Kamaitachi as an example, he gains United upon evolving. Generally you want him to max Brotherly Bond as quickly as possible, and by evolving him before maxing that skill, you lower the chance of Brotherly Bond gaining a level because now United is thrown into the mix.

Shiki that have all skills from the start don't really matter, you can evo them right away and buff their stats.
