Fully Clear Save Data?
Is there any way to fully wipe save data in this game? I played the game in 2 sessions and for some reason no achievements unlocked on my second session, and i finished all levels. Now the last 18 achievements are not able to be unlocked for me. As someone who loves getting achievements this is quite bothersome to me. I have tried removing any files i can find in relation to this game, the publisher, the developer as well as disabling cloud sync and re-installing the game, this didn't work. If anyone knows where the save data location for this game is and could point me in the right direction i would greatly appreciate it.

Just a hunch, but have you tried messing around in RegEdit ?

I'm not in the mood to fucvk u7p my own install because i'm lazy in that way, but a way that Could clear your saves is to delete the HKEY_USERS\S-1-5-21-3752908105-389209484-4015225397-1001\SOFTWARE\Konstructors\WayOut string (or search for unity.player_session_elapsed_time_h192694777 or something similar)

Resetting the time, *could* lead to a bug/feature that resets the game. (in theory atleast, it could also ♥♥♥♥ up alot of internal thngs that could lead to a reinstall of WayOut)

As I said, I have no idea on if it works outside of the theoretical realm and if anyone chose to experiment please do so at your own risk, and if it works please keep us posted.

Btw, screw this game. Its so addictive :D

Deleted user data from registry that you mentioned and it worked! Finally was able to reset my game to as if it was first time launching, thanks a ton!

Well, I would have said this in the store page review section, but for some odd reason I don't have a "write a review" button.

Anyway, yes the registry hack works, but I submit that it's a solution that should be included in the game as an option. People shouldn't have to edit their registries simply to start over again from the middle of the game.

I agree with you Freddie, it shouldn't have to be a neccessity to utilize RedEdit, which could potentially harm your pc, in order to reset a save so that you can get 100% Achievement.

Any possibility for the devs to include a Erase Save (possibly with a pin protection so that no one can f[]@k up your save) or even a main meny with the option to create a new save or something.

Just brainstormin'

Have a nice day

Everything turned out differently for me - all the achievements are open, but the ideal game is not counted, and the average percentage for the game has dropped.

I deleted the whole folder and it worked!

For me it took:
- Disable Steam Cloud
- Delete the whole WayOut folder in the registry (the address was a bit diffferent, where the long number sequence was, but it is still possible to find it).
- Enable Steam Cloud

Thanks for your input but this thread is over 7 years old...

Sure, I totally realize that.
But then again, this is the problem I faced yesterday, couldn't solve it myself, googled it, and found this thread. Chances are, there are people in however distant future that would found themselves in the similar pickle. Why shouldn't we help those futurlings, just because we can? :)
