I'm not in the mood to fucvk u7p my own install because i'm lazy in that way, but a way that Could clear your saves is to delete the HKEY_USERS\S-1-5-21-3752908105-389209484-4015225397-1001\SOFTWARE\Konstructors\WayOut string (or search for unity.player_session_elapsed_time_h192694777 or something similar)
Resetting the time, *could* lead to a bug/feature that resets the game. (in theory atleast, it could also ♥♥♥♥ up alot of internal thngs that could lead to a reinstall of WayOut)
As I said, I have no idea on if it works outside of the theoretical realm and if anyone chose to experiment please do so at your own risk, and if it works please keep us posted.
Btw, screw this game. Its so addictive :D
I'm such a nerd for finding that out for ya.
This game sets my mind up for challenges it seems lol
Have a ince day dude :)
Anyway, yes the registry hack works, but I submit that it's a solution that should be included in the game as an option. People shouldn't have to edit their registries simply to start over again from the middle of the game.
Any possibility for the devs to include a Erase Save (possibly with a pin protection so that no one can f[]@k up your save) or even a main meny with the option to create a new save or something.
Just brainstormin'
Have a nice day
- Disable Steam Cloud
- Delete the whole WayOut folder in the registry (the address was a bit diffferent, where the long number sequence was, but it is still possible to find it).
- Enable Steam Cloud
Thanks for your input but this thread is over 7 years old...
But then again, this is the problem I faced yesterday, couldn't solve it myself, googled it, and found this thread. Chances are, there are people in however distant future that would found themselves in the similar pickle. Why shouldn't we help those futurlings, just because we can? :)
