I must admit that I had my doubts when I saw that, but according the store page "The only in-app purchase is an unnecessary donation to the developers, and not for unlocking content".

So it isn't that bad. :)

If that's all it is, it should be sold as a Steam-based DLC. I also wonder if due to the way this game is coded, exactly because of this "unnecessary donation" option, if that means it's a time bomb that will one day "expire". No, problem though, I'll just skip it. Problem solved. That's how I deal with "in-app" purchase games. Simple, really. :steamsad:

Guys, it's just kind of a joke donation, that's all, no hidden intentions or something :)

Well, in a way the joke's on you, because that "joke" is stopping some people from buying the game. I for one was going to buy it, but was violently dissuaded after seeing that "feature". This isn't even a free game, it's a commercial, paid-for title, so what's this donation nonsense to begin with? If you feel your current price is too low, change that. As also pointed out, you can add additional "purchases" as separate DLC, which whilst also hated by many, is not as insidious as "in-app" garbage.

Speaking personally, even if you repent and remove this "joke", for me it's too late. The damage is done. I will now only acquire this game when at 75% off -the existing price- or indirectly via a possible bundle. (Unlike some, I do not "reward" developers who undo bad things that should not be there to begin with, which only brings the "situation" down to the base "normal" level that most good games begin at, and act as if some great has been done.)

Dude, which damage do u mean? =) Developers put in a little option to support their product, they stated at start that it'll not influence on gameplay, WHY SO SERIOUS?!
:huey:
