Why is it on Steam and why is it still alive

The first answer is still cashscam with an old terrible cheap Pay2Win game and Valve don´t have a qualitycontroll.

I know that game as the worst MMO ever.
Where GMs are doing nothing other then insulting people and f*ck them up with spawncamping and pulling them to death or spawning mass bosses to kill other people that are grinding.
And they don´t lose the job because they are "normal" players (because 99% of the playerbase are jerks, that only play the game to insult and hate each other) and don´t get any money for it.

For me and the most other people this game was dead allready after release.
The only thing why this exists is because they getting money for holding the server alive because some jerks spend far to much money on this game.

Oh and in this game it´s very easy to steal items out of the shops from other people and hacking in general.
There is no point in playing it or even more stupid use money for buying anything.

I know.
But it was everytime i saw such a privat server only a short period of time until the server died (i can talk only for EU servers).
Not that i cared it but from (old) frieds i heard it far to often (because i didn´t want it to hear at all because the game wasn´t good in any way) and even in these days i hear such crap frequently.
... or they are going the same way as the original but even more heavy with extreme prices to find these 1-10 people that are willing to pay often enough on a privatserver for pay2win items with limited time like maximum level gear with a good + for a level 1 character.
Or even worse with ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ugly (because that´s the way the game looks like... it was even out of date at the time it was released) styling gear or a free card for being a jerk that can´t get banned whatever he is ever doing.

Even on singapore server it´s still not an mediocre game at all.
The game was poorly made back in time and it´s still far away from being good.

There are a lot reasons to say this game is not even good at all.
Let´s start with some simple things that player from Metin should know or people that know the memes.

Skillsystem is extreme basic, the whole point to play this game is grinding, people that get bored going to attack permanent other people and get bored is extreme easy, potionspamming, afk grind, bots in mass, very easy to hack the game, people can "scam" other people buy stealing items out of shops via hacks, it´s the game with the most servers i ever saw in an mmorpg and a lot of them are like dead because there is no aktiv playerlimit for a server but an accountlimit, flaming in mass, the games look is serious out of date (and it was out of date as it was released back in time), characterdesign is aweful, enemydesign the same, story is terrible and so on.
And i don´t play it.
And holy shít it´s easy not to play it but i say what i heared and saw.
