S-15 vs SR-47

So, I am currently saving up Medals to buy a weapon from the Medal Shop, but unfortunately this game does not seem to have a shooting range of some sorts, meaning I have no way to "try before I buy".

I have established that I want either the S-15 or the SR-47, because I want a GL, and as I ADS a lot, the red dot sight is important to me.

From what I've found the SR-47 has better damage per shot, is a headshot OHK, but has higher recoil and a lower RoF than the S-15. The SR-47 also performs better against lagging players with high latency. The S-15 on the other hand, aside from the higher RoF, has better stability and is a laser accuracy wise.

Is this correct, and is there any other difference I should be aware of? As I do not mind recoil at all, and tend to tap-fire, the SR-47 seems like the better choice so far.

Haven't tried the S15 so I can't give my opinion on which one's better, however I do prefer SR47 and AK47 over other weapons due to the high damage and OHK. Btw you can try the SR47 in the free DLC.

It does, I think I'm going to save a bit more a get one or two of the other guns that have not been released yet (>.<)

The P90, ACR, and SIZ556XI RUS all sound pretty great. Especially the latter, since I allready like the regular SIZ556XI a lot. Shame though, both those AR's come with that crappy holo sight.

So, I've been experimenting with various guns from the free DLC's, including the SR47. I am actually not doing well with it at all. The RoF is just too low for an acceptable hit probability with my playstyle in this game.

However, that's when I'm playing 100% lagless on the EU server. If I change to the Asian server (because it is more populated), I am suddenly doing better with the SR47, than with any other gun. Not only that, I am doing better with the SR47 on the Asian server, then with other guns on the EU server.

It seems that the high damage guns truly have an edge when playing with lag: whether it's you that is lagging, or the enemy. Conversely, when lag is factored out, they aren't any better than low damage higher RoF guns, and it all depends on personal preference.
