I would love to see it come back, I had a lot of fun there and even hosted a couple of servers. With some update to graphics and maps, it would be killer.

I have also thoght that Bad Company 2 would make a great model.

There were like 3 revive projects of BF2 (it's basically p4f) and BFH. They all die, because EA doesn't want someone else to make money with their product, even if they don't host official servers anymore. Move on, the old Battlefield titles are dead and BF3 is IMO still the best alternative if you want that BF feeling.

You really think those games are dead? Im playing BFHeroes atm...you know how? they also revived it! and now theres a groups starting to revive bfp4free..and bf2 & 2142 were revived for a while but that was shut down by ea..but it could be revived if someone made a group and gathered some people

I did. From the beginning til the very end. And I still recall how OP boosters used to be, how everyone complained because I had a +3 AEK lmao

It runs on the same engine. Basically like CSS and CSGO, not too much of a diference, just a slightly polished game.
