Change the client to 64 bits

Change the client to 64 bits To your pc environment you can change it manually At the bottom of the launcher, the problem is that i cant even open the launcher, it just gives me that error, i already tried opening it from the win32 folder but it says that i have to open it from the launcher. This is stupid.

ok, i've found the cause of the error. For me It's the antivurus program installed on my system (F-Secure). Just disable it or add the games directory (actually whitelisting the BSLauncher.exe in Black Squad\binaries is enough to do the trick) to the whitelist. Also maybe Windows Dfender could cause some trouble.

Same problem here and its ♥♥♥♥♥♥ pi♥♥ing me off everyday. Support don't give a ♥♥♥♥ except saying '' Change to 64 bits on the launcher '' EVEN if we can't open the launcher ???

Should work for you too, then you can open the Launcher and start the game. Btw that's my solutuion, not sth from the support, i don't give a s hit about them anyways.
(If it still doesn't work check with steam the game files and give as start argument '-64bit' (in the game settings via steamclient).)

Step 1:
go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Black Squad\binaries
and open steamlauncher.save

Step 2:
Then edit the file like this:

[Setting]
Lang=0
Win10FullscreenOptimization=1
Bit=0
Version=1

Step 3:

Try rebooting steam or going to https://store.steampowered.com/app/550650/Black_Squad/
and clicking in play now.

I tried many things and that helped me to open the launcher
Maybe because the launcher won't open when configured 64 bits
