Cannot Begin Communication 2 9 3 - then game closes

After installing Black Squad, I tried to run it. It showed the loading images and then showed a box with the message "Cannot Begin Communication [2] [9] [3]" and then closed the game. I spent a couple hours reinstalling the game, pinging the servers, changing my PC's firewall settings... Finally, I came across a post for a [2] [9] [9] error that mentioned something about allowing P2P connections on the ROUTER's firewall. I temporarily disabled the firewall on my cable modem and the game started working. So, you need to have your ROUTER's firewall set to allow http for the Steam client to load and also allow Peer-to-Peer (P2P) for the Black Squad game to run. Happy gaming! :-)

Basically, BlackSquad requires Peer-to-peer connections. If your cable modem/router's security/firewall is set to block those, you need to change the router/modem's settings so that does not block peer-to-peer communications.

I had the same issue. I had peerblock running. Shut it down and all worked.
