Why is this game is so poorly optimized?

My pc has better specs than the recommended ones and i still get 20-50 fps on lowest settings lol. In CSGO i have like 200+fps...

Black Squad is not CS:GO, and btw, I get like 220 FPS on ultra graphics 1080p resolution, maybe it's your pc, I don't know.

dude i got a potato from 2010 and i get minimum while recordin 210 fps high settings on all. So its not the game its your PC... You know sometimes the best action is to look into the probelm inste of "hurr durr i habe best personal compuuutttur an it dont make much fpsss fix now hurr durr"...

You should realise, the game engine is unity 3. Not only is it old asf, but that's your main problem why it isn't good optimised

Not realy, i have a decent pc and i can run older and newer games with higher fps than i do with Black Squad. Here it's a yo yo effect with the fps, the game even stutters too. Game freezes for a split second while you're shooting at someone and when it unfreezes you're dead.
The engine is old and IS the cause of the many problems people face with this game

No, it realy doesn't. I'm currently running an 8700k with two 1080ti's in sli and still only hit around 200 maxed out. Which of course isn't bad, but I should be a lot higher with my current rig. The game also uses DX9 which has been the cause of multiple issues in the past, not to mention the older engined used.

Ok i fixed the fps problem the solution was very simple i just reinstalled the game and i have 200 fps :)

Dunno, my friend runs this game at 150-200 FPS stable on a 650 Ti and a i7-930. Didn't think you were talking about max graphics since those are somewhat irrelevant in a FPS game like this.

I run 300-400 FPS on a 4690K and a GTX 1080 myself. But I don't use max settings. Considering 99% of the Steam games out there run terribly awful I'd say BS runs pretty well as a whole.

Yeah, I run the game on high settings since I don't consider this game competitive enough to bother going for the absolute best fps like I do in CS. But considering my rig, don't you think I should have more than 200fps on maxed settings? A few of my friends get around that with maxed settings(Except default color filter) and lower-end rigs than my own.

There are also quite a few steam games that are pretty well optimized, even games just recently released such as Ring of Elysium.
