I like both and I enjoy playing both.
BS is the Korean take on CS:GO, IS is the Korean take on CoD:MW3. This is all you need to know. Both are solid and polished and both are amazing.
Both have their own kinds of issues.
BS has TDM maps that frankly suck, like Dock Night and Avignon are both stupid camper/sniper maps and when one team is dominating, the other ones suffers badly. Random spawn points would fix this.
IS on the other hand has random spawn points on all of its maps so the problem of camping/sniping doesn't exist, it has low TTK and weapon balancing issues at this point.
One aspect that IS beats BS is that it has actual customization of weapons, drone skills and perks, working to buy weapons actually requires effort, in BS you have Gold weapons that are useless and Medal weapons that you have to grind. And in BS you can't customize anything, it's fine, but customization always beats the lack of such. xD
All armor in the game is cosmetic, and Perks are going to be removed from competitive.
Guns do have recoil, but it's fast paced like COD so of course its gonna be less.
Netcode is decent when the servers are running smooth. Only problem I have is when 1 bar warriors roll around and give them a huge advantage. Just need to add a ping limiter to the game.
Map Design is amazing tho, Absoultely the worst part of Black Squad.
Right now IS looks pre-mature game, that's why they called it "open beta". In near future I guess it will be OK but I doubt that it'll be anti-P2W game.
-Alliance of Valiant Arms
-Wolf Team
-Soldier Front 1 & 2
.
All 4 of those are prime examples as to why you don't trust Aeria with a F2P-FPS.
They killed off Soldier Front. Killed off AVA. Killed off GunZ. Their reputation is horrible.
Also the majority of skins and cometic gear can be bought with Gold, you can also play test weapons for a day at a fraction of their permanent cost, the map respawn points are dynamic, as in you will respawn depending on where enemies are so you always spawn in a safe spot.
The problems? All guns feel more or less the same (even with all the costumization you can do on them), guns are still VERY expensive, they have REPAIR costs (no really that is dumb as all Hell), perks are okay but drones are a *huge* balancing issue, also everyone can heal to full over time, this is a real problem when all guns play the same one good player can just play safe and rack kills and just retreating when he takes damage, pick any gun once his is empty and dominate the whole match by himself.
All in all I see BS lasting a lot longer then IS, if only because balancing this game is at least possible, IS? Not so much...
Currently no.
