Is AK47 very hard to play with or am I bad?

AK47 and 12 seem to be very hard to play with, 47 being the hardest. It's one shot headshot but the time inbetween taps is very long and bursts have insane recoil. AK12 is a bit easier somehow.

It seems good for mid long range encounters because of one tap hs but even then time between taps is too high. I can't imagine how to use it properly in close combat. Should I skip AK weapons or try to master it (if it's good)

Its all about understanding the recoil and spread. U should pratice using the AK in pratice mode, you have to teach urself to control the recoil while tapping.

tbh, i would use sr47 if i was you. its similar to AK, but when youscope in there is hardly any recoil

the problem is that the taps are very slow, you can't tap as fast as in csgo

Honestly, tapping isn't amazing in this game (it can be done, but probably not optimal), I have about 19k kills with the AK-47 and for me, the best way to play is by firing 5-6 shots bursts. at close ranges, full spraying is the way to go, it has a very fast kill time if you can control the recoil. It takes some practice, but controlling the AK's recoil is perfectly doable. Also, DONT run and gun, at medium ranges try to stay still and crouch ( crouching is very important, it helps a lot with the recoil)

The AKs, SR-47 and any other hard puncher can be fired in 2 bullet burst from the hip, 3 bullet bursts while Aiming Down Sights, same while crouching and if both crouching and ADS you can burst 4-5 bullets accurately.

After that with recoil control you can move into even longer bursts up close.

Tap at long range or between burst as to not screw up your accuracy.

AK is a gun which need lots of practice i have the AK and got like 5000kills with it so let me tell ya one thing AK is not a gun whihc someone can casually use it if can control recoil then yes in any game u can use AK otherwise practice with noobs or bots lel I have seen players doing one tap headshots on sniper ranges including me so its not that hard u can be an AK GOD within a few 4-6 weeks of practice.

That AK has a big learning curve and you have to have fast reflexes to get it's full potential.

It has a lot of damage so of course it is hard to use.
Most people are better off with M4 even if they don't admit it, but if you master AK you are gonna have a lot of fun with it.

damn that sounds interesting but how do you do in close combat? do you fire burst or still one tap headshot?
