error 2 9 9 seems to be something wrong with your connection to the server maybe

-pls check that you are running steam in administrator mode
-and also if you could check if your network connection to the internet is listed as either "public network" or "private network" (home/work in win7) at "Control Panel\Network and Internet\Network and Sharing Center" (2 times now people said they were on public network which is bad cuz windows doesnt let through some communications +firewall might work differently i dunno)
-disable firewall temporarily if you have one and maybe disable real time antivirus as well (game runs like 3 exe files in task manager maybe one exe files is blocked by antivirus)

pls come to official discord server's #help channel, this error 2 9 9 is bugging me... we only need to find the fix for it once

and make sure to send in a ticket as stated above with log file

I've already sent a ticket to them (without the log file, because I'm waiting for a response). And yes, I am on a public network... I'll try change some things on the firewall to see if that's the real problem (problably is). Anyways, thank you for your quote and for your clarification too!
