No reason to choose over the other except for personal preferance.
I like EF88 because it is pretty easy to shoot with, does decent damage and has Grenade Launcher.
Most balanced gun in the game.
R5 has insane accuracy and stability, a very useful weapon for beginners.
SizCarbon has a great feel when fired from hip, while G36 has a great punch and low sidekick.
Not a big fan of ARX, CZ805, SCAR-L, but there are players who have them as their best weapons to use.
But if you wanted a solid laser type weapon (little to no recoil), I'd go ARX or the R5
Balanced would probably be G36 or EF88
I'd avoid the hard punchers, as the better ones atm are medal only.
