Some people are used to it. It's like a habit. You can try to tell them but they might just do it without being conscious about it.

It's even better when they wanna look cool'n'stylish and they're doing QQ swap and they are dying because they were caught with knife equipped. I'm laughing so much at situations like that.

It's a good and a bad habit to develop. When you play fast paced shooters like Call of Duty where you don't lose bullets when your mag is 29/30, it forms a real easy habit.

so true, if its one of those games where when you reload a mag and lose what was left in the mag you take out for the new one, then players are going to be reloading much less to keep from wasting ammo. but people can put the mecanic in games where you can maybe keep the mag or be able to take the bullets out from the older mag into other mags but take time to do so as if being realistic.
It's an old habit some of us have developed from other games - in my case, F.E.A.R. Having a full mag before any encounter is always preferable.

But with how small the maps in this game are, it can really come back to bite you. I'm already pretty far into breaking the habit.

I personally try not to reload a LMG and that's why I usually cancel reloads.

Why is this bothering you? What should be bothering you is the fact that you don't even start with a full clip... in any gun, it still is missing a bullet.
