Possibly not using dedicated graphics card?

Is anyone else having issues with performance? I KNOW that my laptop can run this game much better than it is doing currently.

30fps on the loswest possible settings with a GTX950M is just wrong, any ideas how to fix this?

It's a gaming laptop and it's better than my PC which also has dedicated graphics.

Yeah I just fixed it by changing settings in graphics driver, wasn't being used by default for some reason.

You do know that gaming laptops exist right? just because it's a laptop, it doesn't mean it's bad at running games.

Anyway, make sure your Firewall and Antivirus does not block any necessary data.
Also make sure you run Steam and the game as an administrator otherwise battleye could create some issues.

So in short, check your antivir and firewall, create exceptions for black squad if needed and run steam as an administrator. Check the driver settings, otherwise force the game via cmd. to use a dedi or non dedi.card. SInce its an GTX geforce should allow you to play around with some driver settings.

I haven't had wifi for a while so idk if you've already sorted it out but I went into nvidia control panel, under 3D settings and I had to change the global settings because BlackSquad wasn't under the list of programs in program settings.

'gaming laptops' are not actually for gaming tbh, a lot of games have numerous issues with performance on mobile graphic cards(I think it depends of graphical API). Black Squad might be one of these games since it uses Directx 9.
