How does laser sight work?

I've experimented a bit in playing with laser sight on and off, it somehow feels like when it's on guns are more accuate, but the downside is it gives out your presence to enemies.

What's your take on the laser sight? Do you think it affects accuracy?

Wasn't there a in-game tip about the lasers not showing to your enemies?

I'm not sure, but that doesn't bother me if they show or not, I'm more curious to know if they improve accuracy, because if they do, this defeats the purpose of having to use the scope.

Laser sight is only viewable by friendly units, and by turning on the laser sight does not improve accuracy. :)

The laser doesn't add any Stats to your guns accuracy. However just like in real life seeing a dot on your target makes it easier to hit your target.

Aww really? Wouldn't it be more interesting if it improved hipfire accuracy at the cost of being visible by the enemies too?

It's used for people who don't Rambo in solo. Turning it on lets your allies see where you are aiming so you can cover doors and windows without getting snuck up on.
