  SOLUTION: in the Nvidia control panel - set the antialiasing mode to application-controlled. Thanks @plusquare for finding it out!

Freezing in game, after second puzzle, won't let me continue.

Is it a total freeze (need restarting a game or computer) or the game is working (You can press Esc for popup menu and exit a level for example)?

9 out of 10 times when I start the game, the game freezes (white screen in window mode, black screen in full screen mode) I have to restart Steam and sometimes even Windows to be able to run the game
Your solution doesnt make any difference :(

Hi! Please, could You send to us via email - info [at] twomammoths.com - log file (located in steam local game folder / local / log.txt) and also profiles file (the same location - file: profiles.prf). We will look at this asap.
And one question: after freezing - is it possible to close the game normally? or restarting Steam and/or system is needed?

I sent the 2 files.
To answer your question: when I play in full screen mode I cant close it normal, I have to fully restart the computer. When I play in windowed mode I can close it by using the taskmanager.
So no I cant close it the normal way :(

Hi. We know about this problem. We are trying to fix it but it is hard to reproduce it on our machines. Does this problem exist only on later levels (eg last realm) in Your case?

Yes, it only started popping up on the last world.

I really like this game, the puzzles are well thought out. A thing that's not so well thought out is if you're using an ultrawide like me. 3440x1440. The game is very playable, but some items like hints and tablets can be out of reach of the scrollable area, forcing me to exit the game and switch from 21:9 to 16:9 so I can find it. This is not even playable anyway as the game isn't even bloody centered in 16:9! Such a basic thing should not be flawed. Anyway, you could also just unlock or increase the scrollable area, or maybe just not stretch the game to fit 21:9 and instead just have a FOV slider.

[crying] I also had it lock up while replaying a game I had reset, so I uninstalled and reinstalled, and now cannot even get into the first gate! It looks like some "fixes" for other media have broken the windows desktop completely. Is there any way I could please get a copy of what worked perfectly a couple years back?
