Linking/Unlinking Steam account to NosTale website

You can link/unlink your Steam account to a NosTale account on our website.
Go to the website for your country (website links can be found here ).

Linking your already existing NosTale account to Steam:

• Click on “Log in” on the website and enter your account name and password.
  
• When you are logged in, click on the small arrow next to your account name and select "settings".
  
• Here you can see an overview of your account data. Click on the button "Link to Steam" to link your account to Steam.
  
• You will now be forwarded to the Steam website to log in with you Steam account.
  
• Afterwards, you will be back on the NosTale website and you will see the Steam ID of your linked Steam account in the account overview. Your NosTale account has been successfully linked to Steam!

Note: You can't link more than one NosTale account to one Steam account.

Unlinking your account / removing the link to Steam:

• After logging in on the website with your linked NosTale account (log in or use the Steam login button), click on the small arrow and go to "settings".
  
• Here you can see an overview of your account data. Next to the Steam ID you will find the option “Remove link”.
  
• A warning will appear (if you remove the connection between Steam and your account, you will no longer be able to access your account from Steam). When you accept it, the link to Steam will be removed.

Note: You can only unlink your Steam account once every 7 days.
If you logged in with a Steam only account (which was already logged into the game via Steam) and you choose to unlink this account before upgrading it, it will become unusable! If you do it by mistake, please contact our game support (game support links can be found here ).

If you are logging in with your Steam only account (with which you did not start NosTale yet):

• Choose to login on the website via Steam login and enter your Steam account data.
  
• You will now have the option to either link this Steam account to an existing NosTale account or to create a new NosTale account which will be linked to Steam.

If you choose to link it to an already existing NosTale account:

• After clicking on the button you can enter the name and password of your already existing NosTale account.
  
• Your Steam account will be linked to this NosTale account.

Note: You can't link your Steam account to a NosTale account which is already linked to Steam.

If you choose to create a new NosTale account:

• After clicking on the button you will get a form to enter an account name, password and email address for a new NosTale account.
  
• When you create this NosTale account, it will already be linked to the Steam account.

If you are logging in with your Steam only account (having already started NosTale with it):

• On the website, choose to “Log in on Steam” and enter your Steam account data.
  
• A new NosTale account was created because you already started NosTale via Steam. Click on the small arrow and go to "settings". Here you can see an overview of your account data.
  
• Next to the Steam ID is a link to remove the link to Steam. If you do this, the account will be lost (see unlinking your account).
  
• There is also a button to upgrade your account to a full NosTale account. You will need to enter an account name, a password and an email address with which you will create a full NosTale account. This account will be linked to your Steam account and gives you the option to play NosTale via the standalone clients.
