to find a new treasure

i'm supposed to go get items for slugg in some caves but everytime i go there giant mandra basically oneshot me and if i can even kill them i love half my life to their scream and the small monsters around just finish me and my nostmates can only do so much
what do ?

Hmmm I dont remember a quest with a giant mandra but I remember the closed mines with a bunch of Mandra. But if fighting mandra's are an issue you need to make sure your wearing the Antler hat which prevents screaming from being heard. Its not 100% all the time prevention but it has a high chance to prevent scream damage.

Try to take out the small mobs before hand and spam chicken heads if your taking too much damage.

yeah i thought their name were giant mandras but yeah they cut your life in have and the king rumblers take age to die anyway

Yeah, that quest is not that easy...
There are different ways to do it:
1) Run through. You would need a mount and lots, lots of potions for it, but if you really spam these potions, you should manage.
2) Get a better armor and resistances to not die so fast. Also get a better weapon, that might help.
3) Find a group and do it together.
3b) Find a high player to help you.

If you tell us your class, level, equipment and level of your specialist (I assume you already have SP1?), we might be able to give you hints on what to update. :)

PS: @Luna: That's the quest in the cave you can enter on the north-west corner of sunny meadow, with the really big mandras and the rumblers, it's somewhere around lv45 I think...

i had to get a lvl 80 to come help me and even then their life went way down because of the mandras , long story short, eve with mount you can't run through

I ran through with my ~lv50 mage, it is just a question of how many potions you are willing to drink. xD
Of course, running through without using potions like crazy will kill almost everyone.^^

idk i spammed pots and even then the mandras did too much damage
