Periodically the ball will not fire

Sometimes the ball will not fire when I click the mouse button. It switches between the 2 color options but neither fires. Eventually, it fires but often by then, the balls have gotten too close to the hole & I have to attempt the level again. I find this Extremely frustrating in a casual game.
Another irritant - when there are only explosive balls left on a row, one must get 3 same colored balls to get rid of one. I ran into 4 in a line during a play thorough. Really, why is that even a thing?

Update -read a previous post with the same issue - ball not firing. I tried what was recommended and it worked. I never experiencd that issue with Sparkle 2.

Check the forum post from 12/20/17 -" Problem with the last row " . It has to do with where you place your mouse when trying to fire the ball.
