Hardest stage in the game?
What do you guys think is the most challenging stage in the game?

For me, it's Norway - Laupstad (R). While it's not too long, the topography of the road (and offroad!) is very unforgiving, plus the entire stage is a technical mess. There are a few challenging shortcuts as well. That one chicane flips my car like 70% of the time.

Objectively, I'd say haapajaervi -r is one of the more challenging ones, as the reverse run feels totally different from the forward one and you can fly off the road in too many spots.

Personally, I find keeping my momentum across the Japanese hairpins to be quite tough.

Laupstad imho is difficult the first few times, but once you get used to it and learn the flow you need to have, not so much. And that's more or less true for every stage with many corners. I think the hardest ones are (well, MAY BE) the long and/or fast ones with those big jumps, that may be easy with some cars (usually the faster ones) but really difficult with others (usually group 2 and 3), like Kvannkjosen or Montevecchio where you can throw a good result for just a small error. Or Haapajarvi with that tricky corner near the end.
And, well, the german stages with the killer stones. :P

Haapajarvi R is definitely up there!

Germany would be very easy without those stones (they have a proper name, I forget what they're called).
I personally find the techical turn-y stages harder in general, because there is always a ton of room to improve/optimise your drive, whereas with faster stages you can hold down the throttle and be up there with the fastest times.
