Excessively High Computer Temperature
I'm using a Razer Blade 15 Advanced Model: Nvidia 1060GTX MaxQ, Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-8750H CPU @ 2.20GHz 16GB RAM, SSD

I've have the graphics settings at their lowest quality and the computer is getting so insanely hot that I cannot touch the metal case between the top of the keyboard and the screen's hinge.

What is going on here? I can play, many significantly more graphically intense, AAA games with high-quality graphic settings and it doesn't do this.

I'm afraid that playing this is going to ruin this computer.

Thoughts?

Did you turn on V-sync?

Yes.

I also have the framerate capped at 60. The resolution is set to the native (1920x1080) for my display.

How about these changes:

anti-aliasing: fxaa
ambient occlusion: medium
bloom: off

This is a bit embarrassing. I should have thought of this prior to posting.

There was a fair amount of dust on my fan blades and in the cooling ducting. After removing the bottom case, taking the computer out to my shop and blowing out the fans and duct work with low pressure shop air, it is running 20C cooler.

I can even run the game at maximum graphic settings and the temperature difference is nominal over the lowest settings.

Thanks for your attempts to help. I appreciate it. :)
