So how does it compare to Dirt Rally 2.0?
The only question that really matters.

What he said! lol
I´m going to sound like a parrot sometime, but dailies in Dirt Rally 1 were my goto happy place, and all that´s left of it in Dirt Rally 2 is "You have to buy this & that" .... such a turn off.

As for driving physics, everything you´ve learned from Richard Burns Rally still applies to Art of Rally. Scandinavian Flicks, left foot braking, clutch kicking, everything is right there and works like it should.

I´ve yet to understand many people having problems keeping their car on the road. Either it´s because they´re not using a gamepad (like i do) or them not being used to the fact that you don´t have to use full throttle at all times.

My initial issue with keeping my car on the road is that I am going too fast for the conditions. Some turns you should slow down for :)

Vehicle rotation is insanely quick.

It is possible to compare apples and oranges. How do the smells differ? How do the tastes differ? How do the textures differ? How does the sound differ? How do the physics differ?

Thanks for adding useful information. Seems to have built on the ideas of the drifting game they made. Just bought this and look forward to playing it.

Yeah its really jarring sometimes. You can't really get a feel of the weight of the cars. But they each handle uniquely so there's a chance something will click with you.

Jumps are ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up because your car weighs nothing so you'll send it most of the time over any bump

I like it way more than Dirt Rally 2. Played the demo for 3-4 hours and instabought the game yesterday. It's awesome.

For me it's the best rally game after the good old Richard Burns Rally.

Way better than Dirt Rally. Not even joking.

This game is arcade, Dirt Rally 2.0 is simulator. Apples to Oranges. You can't tune cars, change tire compounds, use cockpit view and cars feel floaty in general. The physics is good though for what it is (imagine rallying in minecraft), you can feel weight and each car has a personality. There's a lot of skill involved to pull off sick moves. In total, if you love WRC/RallyCross, you'll probably love this game.

This is the best arcade rally game I've ever played where as Dirt 2.0 is the best rally sim I've ever played. I whole heartedly recommend both! Dirt goes on sale all the time though I bought it and dlc's full price. 0 regrets, have like 400+ hours--money well spent!

But yea this game is awesome if you enjoy rally hands down and for the price well worth it.

I agree. The apple is great for what it is and so is the orange. May be different kinds of fruit but they still satisfy when you got that itch to play a driving game.
