Impossible to play with lag.

The game is running at ~3 fps and I can't do anything about it. My computer isn't old and should be able to run it easily (assuming it's not coded horribly) and yet it still lags. Any suggestions? I tried netbook mode, installing oalinst.exe and replacing the atigktxx.dll file.

Well, I have Windows 7. I finally got it to "work." I also own Atom Zombie Smasher (made also by Blendo), and I randomlly got it to work by opening Atom Zombie Smasher, closing it, and opening Air Forte. Although, the game slowly decaded back down to terrible fps. Hope it helps at all? The game is really short and achievement pops weren't working for me, so you're not really missing anything.
