Got it working in Windows 8.1 64-bit
Right-click the airforte.exe file in Steam\SteamApps\common\airforte\data\ and change it to Windows Vista SP2 compability mode.

Now when you play, the game will work; although, after some time it will start to get choppy and become unplayable until you close and open it again. I don't know why.

Thamks for the advice. I did it with XP compatibility, it's working now but nonetheless the app is lagging like hell.

Yeah, it did that for me too. I could play a few matches before it got /really/ bad though.
