I wouldn't buy this just for online play (even bigger titles are struggling to find matches nowadays) but for the single player experience, it is absolutely worth.
Of course this is assuming you enjoy the normal JRPG style game with the added bonus of fan service.
So yeah you wont find any games online but i would still get it for single player, plenty to do. It's like buying Senran Kaguya Peach Beach, the online is empty but the game is worth every penny for single player.
A minor note though, the achievements don't work for everyone (myself included), its a bug which seems pretty random, doesn't affect everyone just a small few, for me this wasn't a issue as i don't care about achievements but if your the type who does, it is worth keeping in mind. As said it only affects a small percentage of players but long and short of it, it doesn't award "most" progress achievements for clearing chapters, again, minor but worth remembering.
I think it's a little too easy but... that's another problem. It's still pretty fun.
Also, if you have any sort of loading-crash problem, just enable the beta access and you can switch between the beta patch and the "official" one, same save file, and so far that has solved any crash issue I came across unless it was because I changed some game file.
