Xbox One Controller not working

It's unresponsive in-game both wired and wireless. Anybody else having problems with their Xbox One controller?

Xbox One controller here and it works perfectly. I have it plugged in and powered on before I launch the game. I do not have the Steam Controller Support enabled.

my xboxone controller works also just fine, pluged in with the good old cable before starting the game.

But i don't get the achievments...

"Steam Controller Support" was the problem. I disabled it and it seems to be working. Thank you!

I have a xbox one controller and it works but there are times where it for a split second switches to the key board controls. its the same thing with senran kagura bon appetite for me which is worse when you hit the long notes and the game dicides to go key board and ruins everything.

Wasn't any of the Steam settings for me, but I had my Hori stick connected at the same time and that seems to have thrown the game off. Unplugged it and now my Xbone pad is recognized just fine!

Just some clarifications regarding Controller support:

Steam Controller:

- Steam controllers are not supported in this title

For XB1, X360 and PS4 Controllers (as well as third-party-variations) plus make sure that Steam Controller support (i.e the option which turns your controller into a Steam controller) is disabled within the settings - otherwise the controller will not respond.

Xbox One Controller:

- Xbox One Controllers are compatible but may become unresponsive if the Xbox 360 Driver is enabled / active at the same time.

Xbox 360 Controller:

- Xbox 360 Controllers work fine wired (connect to PC before starting the game).

PS4 Controller:

- PS4 Controllers work fine wired (connect to PC before starting the game).

Any particular reason that the steam controller cannot be treated as an Xbox 360 controller in its default Gamepad configuration? I was under the impression that it is compatible with any games that support Xinput devices (thus allowing it to be used with older titles).

I'm somewhat annoyed that I cannot use unwired controllers with this game, I was intending to play this in big picture mode on my TV, and my PC is on the other side of the room, meaning I will have to buy a usb extension cable to play.

Devs, please be smart and use XInput to read gamepads, like SKSV/EV did.

By going the custom (DInput?) route, you are ruling out every XInput emulator/remapper out there which would do all the messy compatibility work for you. The alarming number of gamepad-related threads popped up already should be a good indication something is amiss.
