Guide for custom FPS arms?
Just got a custom model up and running, but it's still using the original FPS arms of the survivor (in this case, Zoey). Is there any guide to replacing the arms? No custom animation or anything.

Just make sure you get the model weapon arms for zoey and when you do custom arms make sure you trim it so half of the upper arm bone shows so that way people who play in higher fov the arms don't be so much in the screen.

For some continued help, is the right arm and some fingers supposed to be unlinked to the right hand? Should I like them back up and pose them to match the model?

always check to make sure those bones move with the parent bone so if the hand move up the fingers should move up if not then you must of unlink bones.

They were like that straight from the decompile, so I just linked them back up. Two bones on the right arm were shorter than the left arm[i.imgur.com] (forearm and ring finger), so I was wondering if linking them up to the correct parent would've been the correct thing to do. They're also posed to the model I'm merging them to.

Sorry for the late reply, L4D2 was crapping out on me for a few days and not starting. I can confirm that the rig does work, so thanks for the help you've given me.
