Report a translation problem
1.) Audio wasn't sampled properly to l4d2's standards, l4d2 survivors tends to inconsistenly switch from 22050hz and 44100hz.
Author probably didn't care or test it properly and just assume every line used a specific sample rate.
or maybe its not even sample rate, he probably encoded it in 32-bit pcm instead of 16-bit pcm without realizing it, since 16 bit should be the standard for this.
2.) Soundcache conflict
audio was either too long or too short from the expected metadata, so as to compensate, the game either tries to mess with the audio or play random sounds for lack thereof.
i suggest you unsub to any possible conflicting audio mods and rebuild soundcache,
I figured out it was the second probability, I had too many sound mods installed that the sound cache conflicted. Thanks for the help!
