how do you change the intro / background

i need help i don't know how to make the backgrounds/intro work TnT

1) Subscribe to the mod then launch L4D2 to the main menu.
2) Turn off the game when it's done loading the mod.
3) Go to your C:/Local Disk/Program Files (x86)/Steam/SteamApps/common/left 4 dead 2/left4dead2/addons/workshop
4) There is a VPK file with the same number of the picture of Kyoukai no Kanata
5) Open it with GCFScape and extract the file "READ ME"
6) Follow the instruccions in "READ ME"!

i don't know what went wrong all i did was go to my addon's renamed the mod move it to the media then made a back up for the original intro/background and then went through 1-5 background typing and intro and when i go back on l4d2 all i get is the loading screen background what am i doing wrong QnQ
