How to replace the concert music in Dark Carnival?
I have a few songs in mind but I'm lost where to start and change the sound/music to a different song. Any help?

Both concert songs are in this location:

X:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\common\Left 4 Dead 2\left4dead2\sound\music\flu\concert

If you want to replace them, use Audacity, and export them as a wav. You could directly replace the .wavs in this location, but creating a .vpk addon is the safer route in case you mess something up and you don't need to verify cache again. Keep in mind that new song lengths must match exactly the original length of the song.

Other things to pay attention to are frequency, in this case probably 44100hz, and number of audio channels, either mono or stereo. Make sure your sound matches the original sound's format as closely as you can manage.

Thank you will take note of that! I also wanted to do the same for the Hunter's growl but all I managed to find was the sound file for the music being played while being attacked, any idea where it may be?

Most hunter noises are found here: D:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\common\Left 4 Dead 2\left4dead2\sound\player\hunter

There are three hunter noises found somewhere else, it's the clawing sound effect, called "zombiedog_attackX". In this location: D:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\common\Left 4 Dead 2\left4dead2\sound\player\pz\voice\attack

I know i'm Necroing but did it finally work? My first song POP Stars from League of Legends doesn't play, and my second As We Fall from the same game is sped up real quick

i have followed and learned from it and has served me well making tank themes - i have yet to do concert mod but you just have to learn the file pathways

Sped up probably means you have your frequency or audio channels incorrect.

to add music replacements must always be 16 bit 44k hertz in either mono or stereo - i pick stereo tho

i think its the same for voices but correct me if wrong on this
