go to options and there u can set to push to talk or contunues talk and u can look at the controler scheme for wich button u need to press cheers

You press T or Y or U...I think Y is for public chat, U is for team only chat. That goes almost for any game.

I never understood why people ask questions such as this one. People join the game and then ask how to perform certain actions such as crouch, walk, use flashlight, chat or anything like that. Don't you go to options first to set\bind your keys first? I know that when I install a new game, the first thing I do is I set my keys the way I want them to be, that way I know what each key does instead of just pressing blindly any key until I found out what it does...I guess you did not own much games in the past hence you don't know this.

EDIT: I was right, by looking at your profile it is pretty much self-explanatory :P

Don't forget in Options / Keyboard_Mouse / you can reassign keys. This is helpful when creating bind keys, also (!laseron for servers that host that, etc.)
