Mods are almost entirely client-side, only you can see your mods. There really is no way to change this, if you want your friends to see your mods, they have to download them themselves.

Hmm maybe the adding favourites? OMG YES adding favourites the workshop item will be added to list and my friend can check it! :)

Maybe make your own server and install the addons to the server.

Though theres no "official" option for that, there is an "indirect way" to see someones subscribed workshop items:
At the detail-site of a screenshot all mods are listed that the user that created this screenshot uses in this game of which the screenshot was taken.
Acutally that has the reason to identify mods you see in the screenshot or to let you know what in this screenshot naturally belongs to the game and what is a mod. But its also a good way (the only one I think) to learn about someones mods in general.

So... just look at one of someones L4D2-screenshots and you have a complete list of this persons subscribed L4D2-mods (:

Example:
http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198034224009/screenshots/#scrollTop=0
(on the lower right)

EDIT: Somehow the link doesnt direct you to the detail-site but just the the screenshot-site. Doesnt matter. Just choose a L4D2-screenshot (the second screenshot, called "Nice...ehm...[...]", is from L4D2 for example) and click on "View all comments and details" (or on "and 22 more" behind "Workshop items"). There on the lower right you find the Mod-list.

EDIT2: Though the lists headline is "Workshop items in this screenshot" its a complete item-list of all mods. As you can see for the screenshot above theres also the machete-mod listed or the missing content fix - mod etc but in this particular screenshot there is no machete nor any missing content to fix.
The only thing that doesnt appear in this list are subscribed custom maps. I assume they will just be listed when the screenshot was taken in this specific map.

If someone has never created a screenshot of a certain game (or you cant see them because they are private) there is - as far as I know - no way to see what mods for this game this person has subscribed (Someone may correct me if Im wrong).

Just create a collection, it should show up somewhere next to 'favorite'. you can add all your mods and then share it with all your friends so they can download them all instantly

How can I get all 359 of my installed mods to my friend without installing them one-by-one or waiting for gmod to install them for me?
I just realized this is the l4d2 section but it should be a similar process right?

Add your mods to a collection :)

There is a way but you can only do it in browser.

Option 1; Some effort

Ask them to create a workshop package of the subscribed items wanted and for a link to the workshop package.

Option 2; little effort

1)First go to your friends steam profile.
2) then paste "/myworkshopfiles" in the web browser bar and hit enter.

(Example: http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198287303497/myworkshopfiles)

3) Now you will be able to see there created mod packs and things they have favorited
4)Now select one and choose which game

(Doesn't show there subscribed workshop items. And it should look like "(Username) >> Collections >> (Game name)"

I dont know if this is a bug and how long before it will get patched.
Hope this helped :)
