How to completely uninstall/delete workshop items?
Hi, Ive loaded a Sound mod for survival recently and i dont think its completely downloaded (even tho it says completely loaded) cuz i notice some of the songs are missing and the download ended too early. Is there a way to completely delete the Workshop mod instead of just unsubscribing? It would help too if someone could tell me where the possible files for this mod may be ( so i can delete them)

Thanks in advance for any response :D:

First, unsubscribe from the addon. It'll keep Steam from re-downloading the mod every time you start the game.
Then you'll want to follow this file path: [Drive you have Steam installed on] > Program Files or Program Files (x86)* > Steam > steamapps > common > left 4 dead 2 > left4dead2 > addons > workshop.
Most mods are packaged in a file with a .vpk suffix. Find the .vpk file you want to remove, delete it, and voila. It's gone. This last step may be a bit hard if you have multiple Workshop mods as Workshop mods are numerically named.

Side Note: The addons folder where the workshop folder is located is where you paste .vpk addons you download manually to install them.

*Steam should be in Program Files if you have a 32-bit OS, or Program Files (x86) if you have a 64-bit OS. If it's not in one, check the other.

So what it is still relevant and helped someone, would you rather they dont use search function and instead make another thread on the same topic.

At most the replying party could have not replied, but they are human and decided to show their thanks in the thread.

Atleast this thread is constructive, %80 of the others in here are just...

I can't tell which add-ons are the ones I want to delete. But if I stayed subscribed to the ones that I want to keep, would it be safe to just delete everything and have Steam re-download the ones I want to keep?

Yes, when you start the game Steam will search your folders, and if it can't find a certain addon in the folder that you are subscribed to, Steam will simply download the addon again.
But if you delete ALL addons, steam will redownload ALL of them, so make sure you find which ones you don't want and unsubscribe from them.

I don't own or have L4D2 downloaded, but i keep getting "left 4 dead 2 add on support" in my steam taskbar, listed above my recently played games. That, and TF2 (which is not downloaded) I've gone through files, but there are no such folders with either names. I don't know what to do, someone send help

The goal is to remove these things completely, because I would like to see my actual recently played games, than these two, cluttering up space.
