L4D2 mods en mac

Primero instalé el mapa del Abismo de Helm y me funciona, pero parece ser que los mods (cambiar la apariencia de los infectados,etc...) no funcionan en mac. ¿Alguien sabe como hacerlos funcionar?

Some mods won't work on servers that are not allowing custom stuff to show up (they're enforcing "purity"). If your mods are showing up in single player and not campaign, it's probably that; since addon maps aren't too popular and servers with them are rare, you're likely just encountering the same one server again and again.
