I waited for this game to go on sale... but after playing on a friends account I quickly realized that it's worth all of the $20, so I just bought it. If you have the patience though by all means wait it out, good sales come around often.

I'm going to echo what some of these comments have already said. This game goes on sale really often. Pretty much every steam sale has left 4 dead for $5. I can pretty much guarantee that it'll go on sale for the summer sale, if not sooner.

But if you can't wait, by all means; go and buy it now. In my opinion its still worth the $20. :)
