No Hands

I played L4D2 today and my hands are gone like in the game I have a flying gun and I didn't download anything is anyone else getting this?

Your viewmodels are off or your models are broken. Uninstall any Workshop mods and then try.

Oh no it's fixed now all I did was die in the game then my hands game back

Wasn't fixed for me, still don't have hands for the L4D primary weapons although items lke healthkits and pills show up. Anyone know which addon might cause this or a possible fix?

I found the addon for me do you have any addons for SMG dismembermen?t because that was it for me and I got rid of it and it works now

SMG Dismemberment? Well I don't know about that but I went through and disabled everything and tried it. It was a workshop item causing it so I went through and enabled one at a time to see which was the bad one. Everything worked afterwords, the trouble with the bug came after I quit the game and came back. Even with it working before it reset to the no hands bug again. Maybe its a rendering bug when the game starts and it can't render the old L4D hands with custom weapons. If you find out whats goin on let me know

Got good news! So I went through and checked all of my addons, for some strange reason "Real life size magazines and M16-Scar swap" causes the hands to disappear although it would seem like it shouldn't. So don't use this with the l4D campaigns!

Well SMG Dismemberment did it for me so don't download SMG dismemberment ether
