How do you delete add-ons?

I deleted all the files but they just come back. I've had zero problems with getting add-ons to work and run correctly but for some reason, I can't get rid of them. I'm on Mac. thanks guys/gals!

i assume you mean stuff added from the workshop? go to the workshop.. click on "subscribed items" on the right side of the screen and remove the not wanted mods. if you don't do that the game will redownload everything you are subscribed too. (not on mac here but i assume it's similar)

You need to go online, find the mod or campaign you are subscribed to and unsubscribe. If you simply delete them, Workshop will reinstall them. Advise, don't use Workshop, use L4DMAPS.

If it's not from Worhshop, you simply delete the VPK file from within your ADDONS folder.

unsubscribe workshop add-ons, and for l4dmaps, you go into your add-on file and manually delete.

i didnt put the files in my addon folder, i simply did the reccomended l4dmaps.com autoinstall:

If you used the VPK installer, it copied itself to your ADDONS folder. Just manually delete it. Advise, don't use the VPK installer. It's bugged. Just copy the VPK files to your ADDONS folder.
