Beat the rush Achievement

Hello!
Need every Player a Melee Weapon or not.Can i play thid Achievment with bot´s.Whats allowed in the Achievment and was not. THX Greetings

Yes,Thx for the answer but didnt work. I have played a new Survival map on Pc (not played before). I survived over 4 min. but i have not earned an Archievment. MMhh Why.
I dont shoot with the pistol when i am down.
Granates and Pills and Medis are allowed or?. Can i play custom maps to unlock this achievment.

You have to play through an entire official campaign using only melee weapons. i think you can also use pipebombs, molotovs, bile but cant remember for sure.

You're thinking of the wrong achievement (Confederacy of Crunches). OP is talking about the Survival achievement.

I got it on my first try on the Parish bridge survival stage. The other players were using guns, I used only melee; no throwables. When we reached Bronze medal, I got the achievement.

Thx for the answers. Yes i mean the Survival Achievment. Beat the rush -In a Survival round, get a medal only using melee weapons.
I´ve tryed with 2 original maps with bots, without throwables and Medikit´s and i don´t die. but nothing, no achievment. :(

No, me and 3 other random human players. After reaching Bronze and the ach, I switched to guns and we all stayed alive all the way to Gold. This was many years ago.

Thx Man. I´ve the Achiement its my 56. Achievment.
Solution:

I Go in Steam to Library - Left 4 Dead 2 - Properties-LocaI Files- Verify integrity of Game Cache.
Steam replaced 1 File and now works :) Yeaah. I Play it on a custom Map where i´ve no medal without throwables and Medikit´s with bots.
