Is there any easy method on how to split screen by using an xbox controller and keyboard?

There sure is! This addon will add a splitscreen option to your L4D2 main menu. All you have to do is keep unplugging and plugging in your Xbox 360 controller until the controller switches to player slot 2 while the campaign is loading.
