Is it possible to open two instances of this game?

Hello. I have two TV's in my lounge with my computer on one and am able to cast a second screen of my computer to my xbox series X. Is it possible in any way to open two instances of this game for each TV so my friend and I can play without it being splitscreen. Thanks in advance for any info.

im not sure about that (there probably is a way but ive never tried) but if you have a second computer then you could family share l4d2 with it to play on two separate accounts

Nah I've only got one computer but it's a pretty good one. That's why I think it could definitely run to instances of this game... just "how" is my problem.

Sorry if im a bit late to discovering this, but i know something that might do exactly what your looking for, look up Nucleus Coop that should allow you to have multiple instances of left 4 dead as long as you find the handler on their discord.

Just had a quick look at this and yes it sounds like it's exactly what I'm looking for! Might take a bit of technical tinkering, which I'm pretty bad at tbh. But thanks so so much for the info. Really appreciate it.

You can use Process Exporer to kill a Mutant called "hl2_singleton_mutex" which will then allow opening another instance.
