And seeing how HL Source turned out I'd prefer they don't attempt something like that again and rather give us HL3 in S2. And not to mention that with a new game in S2 we likely would have no workshop at all, which sucks.
That why I said "Valve" in the OP. I meant Valve releasing something themselves.
Why not?
it would feel weird to me, to have different characters. but if its well done and the movements etc. stay the same, i d give it a try.
am imagining a bunch of whole new voice lines, as corny as the current ones :D
the first times i played l4d2: really liked how they are just some people thrown together. then they make up names for zombies...
it would be so hard though to make something equally good as some addon campaigns, without overdoing it AND good voice lines.
