Why can people lock 'friends only' games.

I swear that i've been kicked from lobbies and running games around 10 times just today. Half the time i either get kicked straight away or im asked/told "Can you leave" or "This is a friends only game, leave" And it's really annoying. I'm not sure if it's the new 75% off sale filling the game with new people scared of co-op or somthing else, but it's annoying as hell. Switching the game to "friends only" only takes 2 seconds.

Anybody else having this problem today ?

Friends only, means just that...what don`t you understand?

Sorry if i did not make myself clear.

What i mean is that people who play a game with a bunch of friends that just kick whoever joins.

Yea this can be annoying. It really is NOT that hard to switch the lobby to Friends Only. The people you encountered possibly lack common sense. The lobby menues are straight forward & easy to understand.

To be honest, I had the reverse happen in - game lately. People I did not know, & people that were NOT on my other friends list were able to join our games. As in a complete random person joined. Even when our games were Friends Only from the lobby. And it is happening more this past 3 weeks.

they play pub game, but they want all their friend all in same team either all in survivor or infected..

Friends only works at lobby but once game has started anyone can join if you use quick match or openserver to find a game.

This is because those people are most likely friends of others in your lobby. such as your friend's friend.

29 hours played... No, you didnt got enough of trolls/tk'ers/♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, you didnt even seen the 1% of those pathetic idiots who usually join public games. If you leave now just for that... Well, you're losing a good game for a bunch of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and nobody will miss you seeing those few hours played :D

If they got the IP to the server and connect to it by the serverbrowser or console they can get in the game anyway.
