yeah the 12 player, 8 Special infected, 50K Hp tank servers with "RPG" "mechanics" are so terrible, they don't even fit with the idea of the game. but the people who make videos about this game are solo experts or VS experts. so they dont deal with it. tbh even some of the versus servers i see in videos are modded TOO much.

there's a lot of foreigner ♥♥♥♥ servers. everyone talks about it every week. nothing we can do. we are basically the steam equivalent to the uncontacted tribes on North Sentinel Island.

I can't even join a lobby without joining one of those servers bro the only fix is to just use the manual server browser and manually join a valve dedicated server by doing openserverbrower in console

You are discussing an issue that will not be resolved, and cry about it will not change anything.

The only solution is to host your own lobby.

That is not the issue, those are local servers and people have right to host them and you have right to join them or not join them. There are over 20,000 dedicated servers with normal vanilla gameplay style. This game is for everyone, not just ''foreigners'' whatever that means. If you cannot find really so much of that many dedicated games, there is a high chance that you were super toxic towards this community to such an extreme extent, that so many people simply started to mass ban you from their steam accounts.


So very likely what is happening to you is that you see on average less games than non toxic average player that did not get banned by other people to such an extent so many times.
So if your problem is finding servers, that is simply your own problem being on everybody's bad side. Even normal dedicated people's side. And seeing your attitude and behavior, together with others, my theory about you and your problem has more than enough credible proofs and evidences.


Steam is a private platform that is INTERNATIONAL, not designed for only American players, but all players in the planet. And even though it is located in United States and abides by the US laws and constitution, regardless it's private platform that does not market itself with nationalism and ideology and xenophobia. It operates by the business market and that business market welcomes people globally. And no international business markets in the world are 1 country sided, but all country sided.

Everyone talks about it, but valve doesn't give a ♥♥♥♥. Move on and make your own official server.

maybe valve should care, maybe they do and haven't figured it out they just run the platform and make their green however after all they did EVENTUALLY fix the tf2 sniper bot problem but who knows what will happen. It's been very annoying to me as a returning player though to constantly be thrown into custom chinese lobbies when i just want to play normally. Sometimes even if you try to just join a VS lobby it will throw you in a chinese campaign lobby. very annoying.

the only reason why valve actually cares a bit on tf2 because the community is dedicated on saving the game. L4D2 community does not and will kick players on sight because of a mistake.
