Maybe you can see how well you did by the end of the game on the credits screen, but by then it's too late to kick players... The only "score" you can see during the game is someone's health and wether they're alive or dead. Don't think people kick other players because their health bar is full.
Keep in mind that there can be any number of reasons for someone to want to kick you. If you're hitting your teammates too often (accident or not, and obviously if you're blatantly trying to kill them), not supporting, covering or healing them...
If you're rushing ahead of the team or staying too far behind when they're not. If you don't speak the same language or don't communicate enough, or too much.
It can even be your attitude. If you're not respectful of other players, chances are they won't bother keeping you in the game.
As for being kicked from games you host, is that even possible when using the local host option? If it is, then sucks to be them because the game will just disappear. Also I would suggest installing an admin mod (Sourcemod, I suppose) and being recognised/logged in as an admin to prevent anyone from being able to kick you.
Those Dirty Blues is correct, the votekick feature is abused by some people, but often it's needed. In my experience I've had to votekick more teamkillers and dumb pricks than I've had to deal with people trying to kick me or my friends.
Speaking of which, if you're in a game with one or two friends, trolls can say goodbye to their option of kicking you out. Worst case scenario then? They mess up your current chapter by wasting stuff or incapacitating/killing you, you kick them and start over.
Make sure you don't give a reason or (as I just said) the option to kick you and you'll be fine most of the time. Waiting for Valve to remove the feature altogether after all these years is futile.
Not saying it's impossible since they're capable of doing it, just extremely unlikely.
♥♥♥♥♥ in multiple servers? FABULOUS
He means in Versus.
No, he's not a developer for Valve. He's just someone who has actually thought this through, and come to the conclusion that the kick feature does far more good than bad.
OR they could just spam weapons and take everything and waste medpacks or stuff.
This is actually sadly true. If you are good at the game then you will get kicked less. The best thing you could do is to try to have more awarness of what is going on in your game. And some of the times people get kicked for a friend which I will admit I have kicked people for that reason. But removing the kick feature is not a good idea. If they did then people would join games and shoot their team mates and then they could not kick them.
If you have any questions on how to get better so you don't get kicked as much feel free to add me. I have played this game since demo and have 2.8k hours so I know what I am saying. Good luck in your gaming!
