Custom spray images

I keep trying to put a picture as my spray, resized properly, but everytime i try to upload it, it says "Image file is corrupt" the image is a .jpg or .jpeg. Can someone help please?

I'm pretty sure Source games don't recognize .jpg files. There should be plenty of tutorials on how to properly make Source sprays out there, try looking at one of them to see what image formats will work.

I have tried converting it to a .png but it still says that it is corrupt

Yea i converted it to a .png but it just dissappeared from the selection screen. it ONLY supports .jpeg

It supports .gif, .bmp, .jpg, .png etc. It seems to be perfectly random though, your best bet would be to open your image in MS paint and save it under all four formats I mentioned, chances are the game will read at least one of them. .bmp seems to work most of the time. Having a file with dimensions that are multiples of 16 (e.g. 640, 800, 1024 etc.) seems to help, so does having a small file name (e.g. deepthroat.bmp).
It's not foolproof but I always managed to get at least one image to be "recognized" by the game by saving it under .jpg, .bmp and .png.
I really wouldn't recommend .gif unless your image is actually a .gif, in which case saving multiples versions of it under different names should eventually yield results.

Try taking the jpeg file put in paint and set to the required size of a game of choice or just youtube it
