no room in hell is much harder and the zombies take more to kill, but both are fun games.

L4D2 is a big ball of fun
I think the original title for that game was going to be, "No way this game will sell." Plays like a game that was being developed as the next Left 4 Dead clone, but late into the project the developers realized it was going to be a dud. Rather than scrap it all and start over, they decided to release it for free.

Looks good, sounds good, but not very exciting. Boring and tiresome sums up this game. At one point, I spent 5 minutes with a teammate taking turns axing zombies as they slowly waddled upstairs. After that I uninstalled it. Kudios for including zombie children that reminded me somewhat of the ones in Dead Space 2. Mind you, I had never played either Left 4 Dead game before trying NMRIH.

L4D2 is much more fun, playing since 2011. Too bad valve gave it away so it's unplayable now..tons, tons and tons of noobs..no expert servers..etc

they were smart to give it away for free, because they earned more fans for any new games they make.

Well, these are 2 completely different games. I don't think they can be compared.

both survival, both involve teamwork, because if you go alone on either, you can die easily, only difference, l4d has faster zombies and special infected, nmrih has slower zombies, and harder to survive.

they are alot the same, but l4d has more a story, and a point a to point b, while nmrih is a survival only in a small area.

Nope, they both have story(or more likely both DONT have story) and both A-->B

have you never played l4d? the entire campaign IS the story, of where they been

NMRIH is better than L4D.

Left for Dead isn't even really a zombie game. It's an infected game. The guys run at you like an angry mob.. punching kicking.. etc. More like a gang beat down. It's more hectic and fast paced but super repetitive and gets old fast. Just blasting with no real strategy. Special infected and vs mode are fun though.

NMRIH is way more cerebral. You gotta have tactics and plan things out as you do them. There's A->B with missions.. and also a survival mode (which l4d doesnt have). NMRIH atmosphere and music is better. The only downside is that it's an indie mod so it's not as high quality as l4d.. but with what they did it's still a far better game IMO.

L4D = Mindless, running shooting... fun for a short time.

NMRIH = Timeless, fun for a long time, hard.. cerebral. Great game. Oh and the zombies BITE! Which is why its a ZOMBIE GAME and not an infected game. So more more to it, with infections and stuff that L4D lacks.

This is over a year old. I don't think the OP cares anymore.

L4D is far more polished and more fun in my experience. But I wouldn't mind a game like NMRIH with better workmanship.
there both suprer -fun, obviously l4d is waaay better in terms of graphics and levels and the way it plays
